About Us

Welcome to Mine Falls Tonkinese Cattery, where we can offer the purr-fect Tonk for every household!

I grew up with Traditional Seal Point Siamese and a Natural Mink Tonkinese cat. My Tonkinese, Kai-Ling, was a very outgoing girl who lived to be 18 yrs old. She was quite the adventurous one who liked sitting in our crock pot, sleeping in a warm basket of towels, nestling herself against the radiator and such. She greeted every person who came into our home.

Prior to breeding Tonkinese, I bred Orientals for a few years. I retired from breeding them to raise our daughters. Once our girls were old enough I started looking to get back into breeding once again, and in 2002 I began looking to see what breed I was interested in getting into. I finally ended up with a Blue Mink Tonkinese as I very much loved this breed from when I was a child.
